Carson City Road Report for April 22-28

Following is the Road Report for Monday through April 28:

Due to continued construction of the Carson City freeway project, Snyder Avenue is closed between East Roland Street and Center Drive. Center and Silver Sage drives are also closed south of Appion Way. Bennett Avenue is closed between Center and Bigelow drives. Bigelow Drive between Appion Way and Roland Street will be closed to through traffic from about 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for construction of water line and storm drain facilities. Detours will be marked.

Northbound Roop Street will be closed Thursday and Friday from Winnie Lane to Northridge Drive due to utility work. Detours will be marked.

The outside eastbound lane on U.S. Highway 50 will be closed near Deer Run Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday due to shoulder maintenance.

There will be lane closures on Fairview Drive throughout the week from just east of Edmonds Drive to Carson Street due to roadway maintenance. Minimal delays are expected.

Utility work will begin next week on the following roads; there will be flagger-controlled traffic with minor delays possible.

Hot Springs Road between Carson Street and Roop Street.

Fairview Drive from U.S. Highway 50 to Fifth Street.

Fifth Street from Fairview Drive to Valley Street.

Valley Street from Fourth Street to William Street.

William Street from Valley Street to Fall Street.

Fall Street from William Street to Adams Street.

Adams Street from Fall Street to Stewart Street.

Stewart Street from Adams Street to Roop Street.

Glenbrook Circle.

Utility work is set for Thursday on Arrowhead Drive between Louise Drive and Goni Road. There will be flagger-controlled traffic with minor delays.
