Police are looking for a person who allegedly robbed El Dorado Savings Bank on Wednesday morning.
According to the South Lake Tahoe Police Department:
The robbery took place about 9:40 a.m. when a man entered the bank, at 3443 Lake Tahoe Blvd., and gave a teller a note that demanded cash and stated that he had a gun. No gun was seen.
The man left with an unknown amount of cash. Police released a photo of the man from surveillance cameras. In them, the man is wearing a buttoned-up shirt, a hat, shorts and sandals. He appears to be a white man in his 50s, about 6 feet, 2 inches.
“A potential suspect vehicle was seen driving quickly away from the area of the bank,” a news release states.
The vehicle is a black four-door, dual-cab Dodge Ram pickup truck with a toolbox in the bed. The model year is estimated to be between 2000 and 2005.
“This vehicle turned westbound on Lake Tahoe Boulevard, away from the bank,” the release states.
