Obituary: Henry D. Cosio

July 15, 1930 - Aug. 16, 2013

Henry D. Cosio “Hank”, 83, passed away August 16, 2013 at his residence in Gardnerville, NV. Hank was born July 15, 1930 in Modesto, CA to Pete and Anita Cosio. He was raised in Santa Clara, CA . Hank enlisted in the U.S. Army training as a paratrooper. Hank was an licensed Nevada contractor. Hank and Arlene were married in Carson City in 1962.

He was a life member of the Los Gatos Motorcycle club and a life member of the American Motorcycle Association. Hank was also a member of the American Historical Racing Motorcycle Association since 1993. He also was a member of the Antelope Valley Lions Club.

Hank was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Cosio. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Arlene; one son, Daniel Cosio (Christine); daughters, Karen Cosio-Smith and Janelle Williams (Jeff); two sisters, Gloria Martinez and Dolores Brunson; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; numerous loving nieces and nephews and friends.

A Memorial Service for Hank will be Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 2:00pm at Walton’s Chapel in Carson City, NV.
