The V&T Railroad is hosting Labor Day Civil War battle trains Saturday through Monday.
Many passengers are expected to dress in historical clothing. Included this year is a visit to Virginia City’s original train depot at the F Street Station.
Rides cost $22 for adults and $11 for ages 5-12.
Trains leave at 11:20 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday and 11:20 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. An evening champagne train departs at 2:10 p.m. Monday. For the champagne train, rides cost $25 for adults, 21 and older and $12.50 for others with cider provided. Riders are asked to arrive 15 minutes before departure.
