Weather (continued from Sunday). That on Thursday night, and break-of-day hours Friday, the temperature recorded its coldest since the winter of 1859-60. At Pray’s Lumber Yard, one block east of the Capitol Square, indicated just before sunrise seven degrees below zero. Yesterday the spring had a coat of ice an inch thick and the bread was frozen in the pantry and in the tea kettle. Indications are that we should find even colder this morning.
