Fae C. Wahl, 89, of Carson City, Nevada, passed away on February 14, 2013.

Capitol City Cremation and Burial is handling the arrangements.

Fae was born in Waterloo, Iowa to Elvina and Fred Timion on May 19, 1923.

She volunteered at the Carson City Senior Center for more than sixteen years. She received several awards from RSVP for her years of volunteering, including the "People's Choice Award" that she received in 1998, from RSVP. Fae's favorite thing about volunteering was meeting all the nice people. She enjoyed spending time with her family during the holidays.

Fae is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Wahl (1978); her parents; her brother, Nelson Timion; two sisters, Berdine Hovey and Thelma Henkels; a granddaughter, Kara Kramer; two step-sons, Vernon and Ray Wahl: one step-daughter, Darla Wahl; and her companion for many years, Jack Metzger.

Fae is survived by her son, Duane Kramer (Karen), Dayton, NV.; two daughters, LeeAnne Ruef (Irving) of Darlington, Wis. and Kathy Wolfe (Chris) of Carson City, NV; two step-sons, Denny Wahl (Ester), Sahuarita, AZ, and Don (Betsy) Corona, CA; two step daughter-in-laws, Carol Wahl and Joyce Wahl, CA; five grandsons, Casey Wolfe, Carson City, NV; Gil Rhoades, Carson City, NV, Raymond Sanchez (Misty), Sparks, NV, Tim Soukup (Janet) and Terry Soukup (Sue), IA; and two granddaughters, Kristalei Wolfe, Carson City, NV; and Tammy Moellers (Sylven), Wis.; 23 Great-Grandchildren, 28 Great-Great Grandchildren, one Great-Great Grandson.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Ormsby Post Acute Rehab.
