Carson CityThe following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:THURSDAY• 4 p.m.: Carlos Contreras, 22, of Carson City was arrested in the Carson City Jail on a fraudulent-use-of-a-credit-card warrant. Bail: $5,000.• 6 p.m.: A 35-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at the Carson City Jail on a Dayton failure-to-pay warrant. Bail: $847.• 6:16 p.m.: Tony Wilson, 44, of Carson City was arrested in the 1800 block of East William Street on charges of battery on a peace officer, a probation violation, obstructing and resisting a public officer after he allegedly ran from police requesting to speak with him. Wilson, allegedly a validated Norteos gang member, yelled an obscenity at the deputies before allegedly jumped over a four-foot tall divider wall. A sheriff’s sergeant who located Wilson tackled Wilson after he continued to run away from deputies. Wilson allegedly fought with the sergeant until four other deputies caught up and were able to place him into handcuffs. Bail: $34,271.• 11:59 p.m.: A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3300 block of South Curry Street on a violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrant after turning himself in. Bail: $1,000.Storey CountyThe following people were booked into the Storey County Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:TUESDAY• John Mark Starling, 29, of Morgan Hills, Calif., was arrested in Virginia City on a charge of battery domestic violence. Bail: $3,000.• Wesley George Rasmussen, 24, of Lockwood was arrested on a charge of DUI. Bail: $1,137.THURSDAY• A 19-year-old Reno woman was arrested on a charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Bail: $737.• A 23-year-old Reno man was arrested on driving on a suspended or revoked license and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
