A Carson City man who was flushed Tuesday night by tear gas from a Silver Sage Drive home by a sheriff’s SWAT team is wanted out of Placer County, Calif. on burglary charges.John Vallerio, 23, fled from police first by car, allegedly driving 70 mph in a 25-mph zone on Eagle Station Lane, according to a police report. The car approached Silver Sage Drive, hit a sidewalk and continued between two fences. Officers said Vallerio then fled south, climbing over more fences.Deputies, told by a witness that the man had run into the 4359 Silver Sage Dr. home, tried unsuccessfully to get consent to search the house from Kevin Cox, 51, a resident of the house and also a passenger in Vallerio’s car. Cox was arrested on charges of harboring a fugitive and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $11,132.Deputies used a loudspeaker to talk to people inside the house and Noell Cochran, 21, of Kings Beach, Calif. came out. She was arrested on a Placer County fugitive-from-justice warrant which charged one count of second-degree commercial burglary and conspiracy to defraud another of property. Her bail was set at $25,000.The sheriff’s office obtained a search warrant and used tear gas to force Vallerio out of the house. He surrendered at 8:08 p.m., Sheriff Ken Furlong said. Vallerio was charged with eluding with endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.The two Placer County warrants contained charges of second-degree commercial burglary, conspiracy to defraud another of property, forgery and first-degree residential burglary. There also are two Douglas contempt-of-court warrants and a Carson contempt-of-court warrant. Vallerio is being held on a no-bail hold.Three dogs were also in the home and were unharmed.
