Carson CityThe following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:MONDAY• 12:40 a.m.: Richard Ramirez, 21, of Santa Clara, Calif., was arrested in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway on a California fugitive-from-justice warrant and on a charge of resisting arrest. A 42-year-old Carson City woman and a 20-year-old Carson City woman were also arrested on a charge of obstructing an officer. Bail: $412.• 8:07 a.m.: Travis Kenison, 32, of Carson City was arrested at Carson and Sixth streets on a Douglas County diversion-of-funds warrant. Bail: $5,000.• 11:00 a.m.: A 26-year-old Minden man was arrested at the Carson City Jail on a Carson violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrant after being transported from Douglas County. Bail: $3,000.• 1:02 p.m.: Matthew Kuiper, 37, of Carson City was arrested in the 900 block of South Carson Street on a probation violation and held on a no-bail hold. • 1:13 p.m.: A 60-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 900 block of South Carson Street on a Reno failure-to-appear traffic warrant. Bail: $1,080.• 2 p.m.: A 34-year-old man was arrested at the Carson City Jail on a Carson contempt-of-court warrant after being transported from Lyon County. Bail: $837.• 10:40 p.m.: Matthew Smith, 18, of Carson City was arrested in the 1200 block of Figuero Way on charges of possession of stolen property, grand larceny and a probation violation. Bail: $28,000.TUESDAY• 9:26 a.m.: Belen Velazco, 27, of Carson City was arrested at Woodside and Monte Rosa drives on a Douglas County failure-to-appear warrant and charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no proof of insurance and an improperly displayed license plate. Bail: $8,148.• 5:11 p.m.: A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office on a criminal-contempt warrant after he turned himself in. Bail: $500.• 11:13 p.m.: A 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1500 block of East Telegraph Street on charges of possession of a hypodermic device and obstructing or delaying and on an alternative-sentencing warrant. Bail: $979.WEDNESDAY• 1:37 a.m.: A 48-year-old Las Vegas man was arrested in the 500 block of East William Street on a Carson contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $470.Storey CountyThe following people were booked into the Storey County Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:SUNDAY• Halene Thacker, 34, of Winnemucca was arrested on charges of DUI second offense, open container of alcohol in vehicle and driving on a license revoked for DUI.
