Dutch Bros. hosts successful fundraiser for kids

Dutch Bros. Coffee raised more than $139,000, nearly $50,000 more than last year, for youth organizations during its annual Buck 4 Kids event on Dec. 7.

Dutch Bros. Coffee in seven states participated by donating drink proceeds to youth programs selected by local owner-operators.

Organizations supported ranged from regional Boys and Girls Clubs to Christmas toy collection programs.

This year's Buck 4 Kids event will be Dec. 6. Dutch Bros. also will be holding its annual MDA Day on May 3 which last year raised $174,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Brummer earns number one position in MLS

Mary Jo Brummer of RE/MAX Realty Affiliates has once again earned the No. 1 position in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for Carson City.

A Realtor since 1997, Brummer has extensive experience in Residential Real Estate. She sells all categories of real estate and holds the Certified Residential Specialist and the Certified Distressed Property Expert Designations.

Mason joins American Family Insurance

Kadee Mason of Dayton has been appointed a full-time agent for American Family Insurance Group.

Mason has been a Dayton resident for eight years. Mason has worked for American Family as an agent assistant for three years. She is married with three children and is involved with Girl Scouts of Sierra Nevada, a member of Kiwanis of Carson City and an associate member for Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors.

Mason opened an office at 808 College Pkwy., Suite 106. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
