Obituary: Leonard F. Lueck

Leonard F. Lueck, 91, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2013 with family near him in Gardnerville, NV.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Edwina Lueck; daughter, Lesley Littlefield and husband, Ambrose; son, Curt Lueck and wife, Sharon; daughter, Lorna Lueck, and four grandchildren Scott, Traci, Daniel and David. He was pre-deceased by his great-grandson, Ricky Littlefield.

Leonard was a WWII purple heart Navy veteran serving with distinction in the South Pacific. He retired from the Post Office as a manager in 1977 to pursue his love of fishing and traveling.

Family and friends will say a final farewell at a graveside service on Thursday, July 18 at 11 am at Eastside Memorial Park, 1600 Buckeye Rd., Minden, NV.
