Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for June 16. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

• CVS Pharmacy, 3240 E. Highway 50, scored 100 points.

• Gold Dust West, Coffee Shop, 2171 E. Highway 50, scored 100 points.

• Jack in the Box, 3225 Retail Drive, scored 93 points. Observed a member of the staff using bare hands to assemble food, corrected on site. Found a used knife stored on the magnetic knife rack. There were no paper towels at the rear kitchen hand sink, corrected on site. Access to the hand sink was blocked with mops and brooms, corrected on site. Found staff jacket stored on equipment in the kitchen, corrected on site.

• Kentucky Fried Chicken, 2523 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Save Mart Supermarkets, Deli Department, 3325 E. Highway 50, scored 99 points. Found serving utensils laying on the preparation surface at ambient temperature, corrected on site.

• Save Mart Supermarkets, Meat Department, 3325 E. Highway 50, scored 97 points. There must be at least one certified food handler present during all hours of operation.

• Save Mart Supermarkets, Retail Grocery, 3325 E. Highway 50, scored 100 points.

• Save Mart Supermarkets, Seafood Department, 3325 E. Highway 50, scored 97 points. The Quat sanitizer issuing from the sink dispenser is over 400 parts per million. The lobster tank is dirty.

• Slotworld, Betsy’s Cafe, 3879 E. Highway 50, scored 99 points. The floors (and associated walls and equipment) are not kept clean in the dish washing room.

• Slotworld, Sports Bar, 3879 E. Highway 50, scored 100 points.

• Slotworld, The Pub, 3879 E. Highway 50, scored 100 points.

• Taqueria Uruapan, 4601 Goni Road, Suite A, scored 89 points. Found potentially hazardous foods (cooked rice, meats and beans) holding in warming units at 97 to 108 degrees, corrected on site. Found numerous large frozen blocks of menudo meat and a block of red meat being thawed at room temperature in the dry storage room, corrected on site. The basins of the three compartment sink were not properly set up while dishes were being cleaned, corrected on site. There was no sanitizing being performed, corrected on site. There were no paper towels at the kitchen hand sink, corrected on site.

• Walmart Supercenter, Deli Department, 3200 Market St., scored 100 points.

• Walmart Supercenter, Meat Department, 3200 Market St., scored 100 points.
