For some time there has been a bank in Lake Tahoe, which in clear weather has generally been taken for a moss formation. It lies at the right of the steamers course between Tahoe City and the Tallac House about two miles beyond Idlewild. It looks like a lot of trees had sunk to the bottom about 50 feet below the surface with every limb and tree perfect.

Billy Warden, a former Carsonite, whose death was recorded in California and then in Nevada, is very much alive. In a letter to the Muldoon brothers of this city, he states he is in the hospital and should be out in about four weeks.

Kelly and Lindsay, a store that has remained open every day for more than 15 years, and Anderson’s Market, have announced new closing hours. It was announced it will be necessary to close every Sunday and daily at 7 p.m.
