For some time there has been a bank in Lake Tahoe, which in clear weather has generally been taken for a moss formation. It lies at the right of the steamers course between Tahoe City and the Tallac House about two miles beyond Idlewild. It looks like a lot of trees had sunk to the bottom about 50 feet below the surface with every limb and tree perfect.

Billy Warden, a former Carsonite, whose death was recorded in California and then in Nevada, is very much alive. In a letter to the Muldoon brothers of this city, he states he is in the hospital and should be out in about four weeks.
