Carson City road construction for July 1-7

The following applies to Monday through July 7:

Beginning Monday, Lompa Lane will be closed between U.S. Highway 50 East and Menlo Drive due to construction. Detours will be marked. In addition, the JAC bus routes 2A and 2B will be re-routed to follow the detour route, and the bus stops on Lompa Lane and Menlo Drive will be temporarily closed during the road closure.

There will be road work on Long Street between Humboldt Lane and Rand Avenue. No delays are expected.

These roads will be closed from 9 a.m. Thursday through July 7: Curry Street from Eighth Street to Tenth Street, and Eighth Street from Carson Street to Curry Street.

Due to continued construction of the Carson City Freeway project, Snyder Avenue is closed between East Roland Street and Center Drive. Center Drive and Silver Sage Drive also are closed south of Appion Way. Bennett Avenue is closed between Ponderosa and Bigelow drives. Bigelow Drive has been permanently closed between Roland Street and Bennett Avenue. Detours are marked.
