130 Years Ago

For the third or fourth time Comstock buildings are being removed and hauled to and set up in new mining camps. In 1863 a number were torn down and taken to Reese River (Austin). In 1883 they are now being hauled to Hawthorne, the coming metropolis on the line of the Carson and Colorado railroad.
