A man reportedly was caught shortly after robbing the Wells Fargo Bank at William Street and Saliman Road.
According to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office:
A man armed with a folding knife walked into the bank shortly before 2 p.m. and demanded cash. Sheriff’s units arrived and found Terry Fawler, 52, of Crescent City, Calif., within 30 feet of the bank.
Fawler was arrested on suspicion of robbery. Bail was set at $40,000.
