Boehner doesn’t speak for all on Obamacare
Watch, if Republicans and Tea Party politicians shut down the government and cause a default, they will blame it on President Obama. House Speaker John Boehner and House majority leader Eric Cantor and Tea Party politicians say they will fund the government only if funding is stripped from the Affordable Care Act, i.e. Obamacare. That’s blackmail!
A few hundred Tea Party Republican politicians are holding 30 million Americans hostage and from having health care coverage. And then to top it all off, House Speaker Boehner has the gall to say “the American people don’t want the Affordable Care Act” and its benefits. Speak for yourself, Mr. Boehner. Americans do want the health care coverage that the Affordable Care Act provides. It is you, Republican majority leader Eric Cantor and Tea Party zealots who don’t want the Affordable Care Act to succeed.

Longer kindergarten hurts fabric of families
All day kindergarten?
Children do not have the skill to write letters to the editor, but if they did, do you think they would say, “Please send me away all day to be cared for by paid strangers! I want to be in the company of a horde of other children, over stimulated, restricted to a structured environment with a guardian who cannot possibly give me individual time and attention. I don’t want one-on-one with my parent. I don’t want time building family bonds and learning things that are not on a course of study prescribed by strangers who have no stake in my success later in life.”
I’m also sure it’s every parent’s wish to come to their deathbed saying, “Gee, I’m sure glad I spent my children’s tender years at work! Look at all of my co-workers who are here for me in support. The fact that my children couldn’t take a day off to hold my hand is mere justice.”
Personally, I can’t think of any job, anywhere that is more important than the job of being a parent.
Children do not need all-day kindergarten for success. Children need a loving, caring, committed parent.
Wolves raise their children with more care and love than is presently seen in American expectations of parenting.
