Jacqueline Christiane Banovich-Janssen (Jackie King), passed away unexpectedly while visiting in Fallon, on Saturday, October 26, 2013. Jackie had lived in Fallon for many years, working as an Executive Secretary for Tedford Construction and the Nugget. She had returned to California several years ago to care for her parents. Recently she had moved to Phoenix, AZ. to live with her son.
Jackie was born July 1, 1949 in Modesto, California to William and Christiane King. She has divided her time between California and Nevada for the last 50 years.
Jackie is survived by her son, Robert Banovich of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Kitty (Chris) Andersen of Livermore, CA.; Yvonne Woodling of Snohomish, WA.; Claudia (Fred) Jacobs of Hanford, CA.; she leaves behind cherished memories as mee maw/grandma Jackie to her many “grandchildren”, numerous nieces and nephews who lovingly called her “Auntie”; Jackie’s prized possessions where her many friends, who she dearly loved.
A Celebration of Jackie’s life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM at The Gardens Chapel.
