Keith Anthony Sulprizio

Keith Anthony Sulprizio was born on March 11, 1950 in Oakland, California to Radium Sulprizio and Florence Jeanne Bergeron Sulprizio. He grew up in Lafayette, California playing among the orchards and he graduated from Acalanes High School in 1968. After spending some time going to college and working in the insurance industry in the Bay Area, he married his first wife, Eva Chavez Sulprizio, and moved to Northern Nevada in 1975. At this time, he began a new chapter in his life, working for the family business, United Engine & Machine Company, a piston manufacturing company to which he devoted his life until his passing. He fathered four children whom he loved and supported always. Later in life, he married a second time and was grandfather to four children, as well as one grandchild-to-be. Keith lived every day of his life to the fullest and cultivated innumerable skills and talents along the way - he was a driven athlete and outdoorsman: a cyclist, a golfer, a skier, a runner, a hunter and a cowboy; he was a successful businessman and gifted inventor and craftsman; he was a pilot, a musician, a woodworker, a traveler, a self-taught student of history and language, and most importantly, a friend to many and a man devoted to his family. His spark, ambition and unique view of the world made him truly exceptional and ensure that he will never be forgotten. Keith is survived by his wife, Jiang Hui; his children, Chiara Sulprizio, Marisa Christine Ryan, Radium Sulprizio II and Jenna Sulprizio; his grandchildren, Jayce Cameron Jacobsen Sulprizio, Conrad Radium Ryan, Simone Viet Ryan and Evan Cassius Rader; his father, Radium Sulprizio; his brothers, Michael Scott Sulprizio and Kent David Sulprizio, and his sister Christine Sulprizio. He is predeceased by his mother, Florence Jeanne Bergeron Sulprizio. A celebration of Keith’s life will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2014, from 11.30am to 2.30pm at the Clubhouse at Thunder Canyon, 19 Lightning W Ranch Road, Washoe Valley, Nevada.
