Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for July 12. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

C-A-L Ranch Stores, 2035 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

FISH Family Dining, 138 E. Long St., scored 100 points.

Rand Avenue Convenience Store, 1800 Highway 50 E., Suite 14, scored 100 points.

Schat’s Bakery, bakery, 1212 S. Stewart St., scored 100 points.

Schat’s Bakery, Cake Shop, 1212 S. Stewart St., scored 99 points. The reach-in units needed thermometers inside.

Schat’s Bakery, restaurant, 1212 S. Stewart St., scored 93 points. Chlorine sanitizer was not being delivered during the final rinse cycle of the dishwasher, corrected on site. Dirty wiping cloths were used to wipe down the food preparation surface where cooked meats were being sliced, corrected on site. Knives for slicing sandwiches were stored between the reach-in and the wall, and the utensil bucket under the plates at the sandwich station was dirty with food debris, corrected on site. The dish washing room and other areas around the kitchen needed coving and fiberglass reinforced plastic repair or replacement. The three-compartment sink was not attached firmly to the wall. There were torn gaskets on the three-door reach-in to the left of the dish washing room.
