Wayne Orville Ellison

Wayne Orville Ellison went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2014. He was born in Schurz, NV., on November 11, 1943, to Ollie and Marie (Bobb) Ellison. Wayne was the pastor at the Stewart Community Church for the last ten years and loved serving the Lord. He was also a member of the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe. He leaves behind his wife Shelly Ellison, sisters Christine Kennedy and Sandra Ellison, nephews Jon and Jeff Pishion, and a number of great nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held the Stewart Community Church , 5340 Snyder Ave., Carson City, NV, on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. immediately followed by a traditional dinner at the Church. He will be buried at the Churchill County Cemetery in Fallon, NV following the services and dinner. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop St, Carson City, NV.
