Lowry leads the way in the team standings at 121 and Carson is close behind at 110.

“Half of our team is in the semifinals, and that’s pretty good,” CHS coach Paul Carter said. “The semis today are really big. We are starting to wrestle pretty tough as a team. Obviously we have areas of improvement.”

Carter was especially impressed with Rivera, Sievers and Rogers.

“Brady looks so tough,” Carter said. “He’s one of the guys from start to finish who has looked dominant. He’s tough.

“Sievers has been a surprise. We didn’t expect this much out of him. He is starting to come into his own. Rogers has such great mat demeanor. He looks like a veteran.”

Today’s action begins at 9 a.m.
