Sydney Mae Fredrick

Sydney was born in Tacoma, WA to Floyd and Evelyn Shepard. She graduated from the Catlin School in Portland, OR and the Univ. of Washington in 1959, earning a BA in English Literature. After graduation she married Donald Travis and moved to the San Francisco Bay area. After her divorce, Sydney married Richard Fredrick and they made their home in Carson City until his passing in 1977. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Shepard and is survived by two sisters Helen Alexander and Susan Hagan, as well as three sons, James and George Travis, Richard Fredrick Jr. and daughter Sarah Younger. A service is planned for January 17th, 11 am at Lone Mt. Cemetery, Carson City, NV.
