Gin L. Planeta

Gin Planeta passed away peacefully on December 15, 2014, surrounded by family. She was born February 16, 1962 in Reno Nevada. She met her husband Bill in Carson City, where they were married and raised their son, Dante. Gin loved roller coasters, Hawaii, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Bill, their son Dante, and the most recent member of their family, Audrey, who they rescued from the animal shelter, as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, Mother (Diana Scott) and Father (Ted Scott). She was preceded in death by her sister Roz Adair Crabtree. Viewing will be at Walton’s Funeral Home in Carson City on December 18, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be at Walton’s Funeral Home in Carson City on December 19, 2014 at 1:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the America Cancer Society in Gin’s name.
