Guest vocalist June Joplin, shown singing at Jazz & Beyond festival, will sing at Pre-Valentine's Day concert with Mile High Jazz Band on Tuesday.
“Jazz Sampler for Sweethearts,” an evening of big-band music with singers Sheryl Adams, June Joplin and Cindee LaVal, is set for 7:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Comma Coffee, 312 S. Carson St.
General admission is $5 at the door and is free for ages 18 and younger.
The event features the 19-member Mile High Jazz Band presenting jazzy versions of love songs. The performance is funded in part by a grant from the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
