TALENT SHOW
In front of an almost packed house at the Community Center on Wednesday, 16 acts performed a variety of songs and acts. Wyatt Law took first place in the non-singing category for shredding on his electric guitar. Hannah Goddard, Tess Corda and Haley Davis took second place with their dance number.
In the singing category, first place was awarded to the Favero Sisters, Juliet and Athena singing a duet while Athena played the guitar. Second place was Becka Breur. The Grand Prize Overall Best Act Award of the night went to Colton Schaum for his shredding number on the electric guitar. The evening was sponsored by Carson High School’s FBLA.
Thank you to Ms. Dana Fleming, Ms. Erin Been, Ms. Mena Dedmon and Mr. William Houk for judging the event. And thanks also to Mr. Houk’s recording club, who audio taped the night’s performances.
Audio downloads of each of the individual acts will be available soon. Thanks to all the students and staff for a remarkable evening! CHS has some serious talent.
