Jason Joyner is one of 159 students at the University of Nevada, Reno’s College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources named to the 2013 dean’s list. To make the list, students must declare a major in the college, complete 12 course credits and earn a 3.75 grade-point average or higher.
Joyner, a biotechnology major, is the son of Joe and Sue Joyner of Dayton. He was salutatorian of the 2010 graduating class at Dayton High School and received the Millennium Scholarship and Nevada Scholars Scholarship. He played drums for three years in the Pride of the Sierra marching band for the University of Nevada, Reno.
