Ski teams 6th at Alpine

Carson High’s boys and girls ski teams each finished sixth at the first meet of the season Thursday afternoon at Alpine Meadow.

Erna Knobel finished 12th, Bailee Barber 27th, Alison Greene 29th and Anna Glenn 35th.

On the boys side, Charlie Hersey was 23rd, Connor McRae 30th, Ian VanRensselaer 35th, Luke Kirsch 39th and Hunter Hewitt 43rd.

CHS SPRING SIGN-UPS

Carson High’s spring sports sign-up night is scheduled for Feb. 6 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the north foyer.

Sports packets are currently available in the athletic office or on line at www.carsonhigh.com.

Baseball, softball, track and swimming are the spring sports open for registration.

CHS, DAYTON ON ROAD

The CHS boys (9-3) and girls (7-7) basketball teams are in Reno tonight to play Damonte Ranch at 5:15 and 7 p.m., respectively.

Dayton High’s boys and girls varsity squads will play at Fallon tonight. Start times are 6 and 7:30 p.m.
