Candice Renee Chilton, 30, of Las Vegas, passed away on December 25, 2013. She was born March 23, 1983 in Reno, NV relocating to Las Vegas in 2009 to be nearer to other family members.Candice eagerly pursued a career in Food and Beverage services at the Mont Bleu Resort in Lake Tahoe and more recently with Ark Restaurants in Las Vegas.Candice is survived by her mother and step-father, Kim and Mark Fletcher of Las Vegas, father and step-mother, Jeff and Mary Chilton of Cameron Park, CA, brother, Jeffery Chilton and step-sister, Jessica Fletcher, both of Las Vegas, step-brother, Bryan Benigni of Mirriata, CA, and grandparents Don and Marge Chilton of Las Vegas.Candice courageously battled breast cancer for 3 years, defying many medical predictions and inspiring numerous “sister-warriors” to continue their fight. Candice, your brave spirit shall live in our hearts and memories forever. A Celebration of Candice’s life will be held at Desert Memorial, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas, NV 89101 on January 18 from 2:30 to 5 PM. Donations may be given to Home Health Hospice in memory of Candice Chilton.
