Obituary Gary Stolfich

November 3, 1953 - January 23, 2014

Gary Stolfich, 60 Years Old, born November 3rd 1953 in Sacramento California to the late Jean and Erwin Stolfich. Gary passed away at his home in Carson City Nevada on the morning of Thursday January 23rd. He is survived by three children, four grandchildren and a sister. His children are: Rebecca Jessmer, Las Vegas Nevada; Rory Stolfich, Carson City Nevada; and Rozlind Machala, Brighton Michigan. His grandchildren are: Chardonnay Jessmer, 14; Jasmine Jessmer, 11; Tyler Stolfich, 11; and Steven Olshansky, 2. His sister is Linda Matillion, Cotignac France. Gary lived in Carson City Nevada for 25 years and worked as an electrician for a locally owned and operated company for 13 years. Prior to his service as a electrician he held various construction related jobs in California. He was an extremely talented man who wore many hats within the construction trade. Aside from his talents at work, he was a caring and fun-loving single father. He was always focused on taking care of his family and being the best father he could be for his children. Once grandchildren came, he continued his love for his family and enjoyed spending time with his grand kids. Gary will be remembered for his honesty, loyalty, genuineness, benevolence, friendliness, and all around good-natured personality. He will be remembered by his children for his smile, laughter, tenderheartedness, generosity and humor. He will be missed dearly but never forgotten. A memorial service will be held at the Calvary Church on Friday, January 31st at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to the Calvary Church.
