Obituary Donna Harward Skidmore

Donna Harward Skidmore died Wednesday at CTH. She was born in Peerless Utah, where she later attended school and went on to college. She married Duane Skidmore March 7, 1948. They were married 64 years until Duanes Death in 2012. They had five children who were raised in the Carson City, NV area. She retired to Oregon in 1978, where she lived until 2011, when she returned to Carson City. She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her children, Debbie and Harold Votipka; Brent and Vickie Skidmore; and Dr. Sheri Skidmore. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild, her two sisters Norma Treft and Maurine Davis; numerous nieces and nephews and 4 canine family members, Dewey, Moses, Kenya, and Moracco. A Graveside service will be held at Garden Cementary in Gardnerville, NV on Feb 1, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers make donations to the LDS Church, Clear Creek Ward, or Advocates to End Domestic Violence.
