Douglas “Doug” C. Tucker

Doug Tucker, 82, died June 25, 2014 in Stratton, Nebraska. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa June 25, 1932 to Bessie Tucker. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Nevada State Elks Association and was State President from 2007-2008. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Tucker; Brother Walt; and Daughters Debbie, Diedra, and Doreen. Surivivors include his wife Colleen of Stratton, Nebraska (formerly of Garnderville, NV); sons David Tucker and wife Bobbie of Whittier, CA, Donald Tucker of Carson City, NV and daughter Diana Zafranovich of Carson City, NV; Grandchildren, Mathew Tucker and Ryan Tucker of Whittier, CA, Veronica Romeburgs, Michael Fletcher, Christopher Fletcher and Kayla Tucker all of Carson City, NV and Richel (Zafranovich) Garcia and Bryan Byrne of Reno, NV and 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Tahoe/Douglas Elks Lodge in Gardnerville, NV.
