Charges have been dismissed against a man who was the subject of a manhunt in Ruhenstroth.
The Douglas County District Attorney’s Office said it will not file a complaint against Anthony Robert Diaz.
In a Thursday memo written by Deputy District Attorney Erik Levin, there was probable cause for the arrest, but the state won’t be filing criminal charges.
Diaz was arrested Tuesday night after he and the mother of his son argued. Diaz left the home with his son and didn’t return.
Because it was claimed that Diaz had a firearm, authorities called out the Special Weapons and Tactics team, Search and Rescue and Washoe County’s Raven helicopter to search for him.
