Candidates have until Friday to file their second of five Contributions and Expense Reports with the Secretary of State’s office.
This report covers the period from May 17 through June 6 and is designed to give voters a look at who is funding different candidates so they can take that into account when voting in the primary elections.
The primary is set for June 10, although early voting is in its second week already.
The third report isn’t due until Oct. 10.
A spokesman for the Secretary of State’s office said the reports are required even if a candidate received no contributions or spent no funds during the reporting period.
Candidates have until one minute before midnight Friday to file since they can do it on-line through the campaign finance database Aurora. To access Aurora, visit the office’s home page at www.nvsos.gov and click on the Aurora icon.
