Corinne Mae Montague

Corinne was born in Canoga Park, CA to Mr. Gerald A. Lambert and Mrs. Leila C. (Brooks) Lambert. She graduated from Canoga Park High in 1945. She married Carroll “Murph” Montague in 1948, raising four children together. They moved to Carson City in 1969. Early on, Corinne worked at The Carson Nugget and later at Mervyn’s. She will be missed every day and will remain in her family’s hearts forever. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Montague; her son, Danny Montague and her brother, Gerald Lambert. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Carroll “Murph” Montague, daughters, Michele Humphrey and Julianne Stacey; Sister, Kathryn (Lambert)Coburn; Grandchildren, Rosie, Susie, Aimee, Richard, Becky, Mike and Tim; Great Grandchildren, Michael, Devin, Jacob, Matthew, Cameron, Emma, Timmy, Kallie, Dylan, Ryan, Megan, Madison, Paige and Baby Boy DeWidt. Corinne’s family will be celebrating her life with a private memorial service.
