Pauline Day

Pauline Day was born and raised in Marble Hill , MO on April 20, 1931 to Ina and Oscar Schrock and died in Carson City, Nevada May 30, 2014. She married Bill Day January 20, 1950.Pauline and Bill moved their family to Carson City, NV when Bill started a new job.Pauline began working at Sears in Carson City, and then moved to work at a local bank. She started her career in 1969 with Carson City Accessors’ Office. She retired from there in 1993. She made many good friends during her time with the city. Pauline is survived by three sons: Mark (Stephanie) Day, Mitchell (Mari) Day, and Monte (Julie) Day, all of Carson City. 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A Remembrance Service for family and friends will be held Friday, June 6, 2014 from noon until 6 pm at Mark’s residence. Pauline’s care is entrusted to Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, Carson City, NV.
