Virginia City High School is looking to fill the position of varsity boys basketball coach for the upcoming season. Interested individuals should contact Patrick Beckwith, VC athletic administrator at pbeckwith@storey.k12.nv.us.
The vacancy was created when Dick Lee resigned last week after two years at the helm.
Virginia City has a storied basketball program, garnering 17 state championships, the most of any high school in Nevada. The most recent title came in 2005. The Muckers have won the Northern Division title and finished as state runner-up the past two years.
“We have a rich tradition of basketball excellence at Virginia City,” said Beckwith. “Our goal is to find a coaching candidate who appreciates this history and wants to add to it.”
