Carson City Road Report for June 29 - July 6

The following information applies to the period of June 30 – July 6:

The Snyder Avenue bridge is now open.

The following lane closures will occur due to utility work:

On Monday, June 30, a lane shift on Hot Springs Road from Carson to Roop streets and on Retail Drive and Retail Court on either side of College Parkway.

On Tuesday, July 1, the northbound outside lane of Carson Street will be closed from Washington Street to Hot Springs Road.

On Wednesday, July 2, the southbound outside lane of Carson Street will be closed from Musser to Second streets.

Vista Grande Boulevard will continue to be closed from Topsy Lane to Old Clear Creek Road with a signed detour. There will also be intermittent delays on Old Clear Creek Road near the intersection with Vista Grande Boulevard.

There will be road work on the section of Timberline Drive between both intersections with Prospect Drive. This section will be open to local traffic only, and through traffic will be detoured onto Prospect Drive.

There will be lane closures on Potomac Street between Lexington and Saratoga from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. There will be flagger-controlled traffic.

There will be street shoulder work on weekdays at the following locations. Minimal delays are possible.

Combs Canyon Road and Meadow Wood Road in the Lakeview area.

The north side of Morgan Mill Road between Empire Ranch Road and Deer Run Road (Wednesday only).
