Melba Fay Brown

Melba Fay Brown passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Renown Medical Center. She was born February 28, 1935 in Cottle County, Texas the daughter of Earnest and Allice May Goldston Fields. Melba is survived by her two children Charles F. “Frank” Barrett III(Cassandra) of Fallon, NV Dana Barrett Campbell(Clark) of Live Oak, Florida, step son Roy “Shamo” Brown (Theresa) of Fallon, NV; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her first husband Charles F. Barrett II, and her much cherished James Brown in 2010, son Tommy Dan Barrett, brothers Walton and Prentice, and sister Earnest Mae “Mazie”. Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, March 21 from 6-8PM at Smith Family Funeral Home, 505 Rio Vista Dr. Fallon, 423-2255. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22 at 1PM at the Fallon cemetery.
