Carson City road report for May 12-18

The following applies to Monday through May 18:

Ponderosa Drive will be permanently closed to public traffic south of East Roland Street on Tuesday. Temporary access will be allowed for emergency vehicles and buses only.

There will be lane closures with flagger-controlled traffic on weekdays on Northgate Lane between the freeway overpass and Jumbo Court.

A southbound lane of Saliman Road will be closed just north of East Fifth Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

The outside northbound lane of North Carson Street, just north of Winnie Lane and the right turn lane of westbound Winnie Lane at Carson Street, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

There will be street shoulder work on weekdays at the following locations:

Silver Sage Drive between Sonoma and Colorado streets.

Woodside Drive between Ladera and Stanton drives.

The east side of North Carson Street north of Monk Court.

Clearview Drive west of Gentry Lane.

South side of Robinson Street between Carson and Plaza streets.

Lakeview Road south of Hobart Road.
