Coin Press No. 1 will operate today and will make and sell commemorative medallions from 10:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the Nevada State Museum.

More than 200 entries will be featured in the 76th Nevada Day parade at 10 a.m. on Carson Street.

The Carson City Elks Lodge, 515 N. Nevada St., will serve traditional Cornish pasties during the Nevada Day Parade. Food service, which also offers hamburgers and hot dogs and beverages, begins at 11 a.m. Prices range from $4 for a hot dog and chips to $6 for a full pasty meal. Carson City Ghostwalk Tour will take place from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The 90-minute guided walking tour meets on the corner of 3rd and Curry streets. Nevada Day FamFest will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Curry Street. A family-friendly fun zone featuring food vendors, arts & crafts, music, games, a bicycle show & shine and a Roller Derby demonstration.

A reenactment of the Morse code sending of the state Constitution to President Lincoln by the Sierra Nevada Amateur Radio Society will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Capitol grounds next to the miner statue.
