Leslie Cain of RE/MAX Realty Affiliates Carson City will continue a second term as the Carson City director of the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors.
Cain represents Carson City at the association’s monthly board of directors meetings. She also participates in decisions regarding disbursement of charitable funds to non-profit organizations and scholarships to local high school students.
Cain has held her real estate license for nearly 10 years and specializes in residential and land sales and purchases throughout Northern Nevada. She holds the Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Distressed Property Expert, Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate - Realtor Institute and Certified Investor Agent Specialist designations.
The Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors supports realtors in the Sierra Nevada region, including Carson, Douglas, Churchill and Lyon counties, except Fernley.
Hill named manager of Walton’s Chapel of the Valley
Walton’s Chapel of the Valley welcomed Darren K. Hill as its new manager of Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, Walton’s Carson Gardens Cemetery, Walton’s Funerals and Cremations in Gardnerville and Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society.
As a licensed cemetery manager, crematory manager, funeral director and embalmer in California, Hill brings more than 34 years of funeral, cremation and cemetery experience to the Carson City area.
Hill, an avid fisherman, is a member of Morning Star Lodge #19 F & AM. He has been active in Rotary and Big Brothers and Big Sisters. He is a former school board member and volunteer with Reading Partners.
Hill and his wife of 28 years, Antoinette, have two children. Their son is completing his teaching credentials and their daughter is a volunteer with AmeriCorp.
