Officials at the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles are warning customers that their offices are notoriously crowded and busy the day before Thanksgiving and the Monday after the holiday weekend.
DMV officials said Wednesday and Monday are typically some of their busiest days of the year. They urged visitors to pick different times to do their business.
DMV offices in Nevada will be closed for four days from Thanksgiving Day through Sunday, Nov. 30. They will also be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Officials encourage customers to avoid their offices altogether by completing tasks at DMV kiosks placed throughout the state. Drivers can renew their registration and complete other tasks at the so-called “DMV in a Box.”
