Dwight “Ike” Richard Springer, 69, of Anoka, Minnesota, succumbed to Alzheimer’s Disease at the Mountain View Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carson City, Nevada on Monday, September 29, 2014. Dwight is survived by his wife Nancy of 49 years, son Richard Springer, daughter April L. Springer, grandson Michael Metoyer, sisters Verna Hill, Dorothea Hayes, brothers Virgil Springer and Ron Williamson. Predeceased by sisters Louise Hill, Lucille Isaacs and brother Emil Springer. Dwight served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Forrestal and worked a career of 40 years at General Electric. He enjoyed traveling with his family, fishing, camping, bowling, glass blowing and oil painting. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.
