Carson City Road Report

The following information applies to the period of Oct. 6-12.

Street sealing will continue during the daytime hours on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the following locations:

Fifth Street between Saliman Road and Airport Road (20 minute delays expected).

Firebox Road from Saliman Road to the east end of the roadway (road closed).

The Nevada Department of Transportation will continue road work on Highway 50 from Arrowhead Drive in Carson City to Baldwin Lane in Mound House. There will be single lane closures from 1 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. weeknights in the westbound direction and from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. in the eastbound direction.

Lane closures are expected with minimal delays due to utility work on the following roads:

Thursday, Oct. 9, on G.S. Richards Boulevard just south of the roundabout.

Friday, Oct. 10, on Panamint Road just north of Knoblock Road.

There will be utility work on roadway shoulders in the Lakeview area south of Hobart Road during the weekdays. No delays are expected.

There will be work primarily in the shoulder of the following roads Monday through Thursday. Minor delays are possible:

Fifth Street from Hidden Meadow Drive to Fairview Drive.

Hells Bells Road from Fifth Street to Parkhill Drive.
