Nancylee Robertson

Born August 21, 1927 to Wallace T. and Helen A. Masters, Nancylee Robertson fulfilled God’s promise and joined her Heavenly Father on September 28, 2014. Above all else, Nancylee deeply loved and was devoted to her Heavenly Father, family and friends. She enjoyed music and dance, was a gifted artist, a loving and committed wife, mother and matriarch of a vibrant life-filled family. Among her many talents, she could revive the most neglected orchid, brought light and joy to any circumstance through her infectious laugh and quick-witted humor. Nancy was a devoted scholar of God’s Word serving as a teaching leader of Bible Study Fellowship for many years and whose Bible can only be described as “Jesus’ Notebook.” Her graciousness and kindness transcended our challenges and set the standard for living well. Never an unkind word and always grateful for God’s blessings, some of her greatest joys were puppies, being surrounded by family, holding hands with her beloved Jim, sharing time with friends and always being in the presence of the innumerable dogs that have graced Nancylee’s and Jim’s life together. Though we will miss her in more ways than can be written, we are joyous in knowing she is in the arms of her Heavenly Father, rejoice in her new happiness and know she is preparing our way. Nancylee is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, James Robertson, sons Kent and Mrs. Rosanna Robertson, Bruce and Mrs. Gayle Robertson, daughter Mrs. Lynn and Gary Lyon, grandchildren Scott and Mrs. Morgan Robertson, James and Mrs. Heather Robertson, Amy and Mr. Michael Bliss, Jeffrey and Mrs. Kelsey Martin, Rebecca Robertson, Kyle Robertson, and great granddaughter Kendra Robertson. A celebration of Nancylee’s life will be held 11:00 am, October 11, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, 306 W Musser St, Carson City, NV. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
