Carson High

Junior, Football

Q: What is your favorite sport to watch on TV and why.

A: Football. I have a pretty strong understanding of the game so it’s fun to watch.

Q: Do you feel professional athletes should be considered role models, and why.

A: Yes they should. Every man should strive to be a role model for someone else. The world would be a much better place if that was the case.

Q: What are your feelings about “dress guidelines” at the high school level.

A: Right now I think they are fair and everybody seems to be following them.

Q: What is your favorite sports movie.

A: We Are Marshall

Q: What do you like or dislike about Carson City in general.

A: I like how it’s not too small of a town and how the community is a nice, safe place to live.

Q: What vacation spot have you enjoyed the most.

A: Disneyland. It’s the happiest place on Earth with people from all walks of life.

Q: What is your favorite food.

A: My dad’s gumbo.

Q: What is the last non-academic book you read.

A: The Bible.

Q: Is too much emphasis placed on test scores in education? Share your thoughts.

A: In a way there is. School should actually be about learning things that are valuable in your life. You should be more focused about growing and developing as a person, not worrying about what year the French Revolution was.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete, and why.

A: Shaun Alexander, Not only was he a talented athlete, but he was a good, loving man who gave back to the community.
