Road Report

The following information applies to the period of Sept. 29 – Oct. 5.

Street sealing will occur from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays with minor delays expected in the following areas:

The area bounded by Roop Street, Saliman Road, Little Lane, and Fifth Street.

The area bounded by Fifth Street, Marsh Road, Buzzy’s Ranch Road, and Hells Bells Road.

Goldfield Avenue from Saliman Road to Allouette Way.

On Monday, Sept. 29, the outside northbound lane on Carson Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Musser Street and Telegraph Street.

The Nevada Department of Transportation will continue road work on Highway 50 from Arrowhead Drive in Carson City to Baldwin Lane in Mound House. There will be single lane closures from 1 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. weeknights in the westbound direction and from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. in the eastbound direction.

There will be utility work on roadway shoulders in the Lakeview area south of Hobart Road during the weekdays. No delays are expected.

There will be utility work in the shoulder on the north side of Snyder Avenue between Edmonds Drive and Conte Drive on Wednesday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 3. No delays are expected.

There will be work primarily in the shoulder of the following roads Monday through Thursday with minor delays possible:

Fifth Street from Hidden Meadow Drive to Fairview Drive.

Hells Bells Road from Fifth Street to Parkhill Drive.

On Saturday, Oct. 4, Third Street will be closed from Carson Street to Curry Street and Curry Street will be closed from Second Street to Fourth Street from 6 a.m. to noon for an event.
