RENO — The Nevada baseball team used a clean effort in all phases of the game to defeat Saint Mary’s for the second time in as many days. Senior RHP Jason Deitrich allowed one run in seven innings and the 28th-ranked Wolf Pack downed the Gaels, 8-1 on Wednesday evening at Peccole Park.

Etta Robinson, age 83, passed away on April 10, 2015 in Fallon, NV. She was the loving wife of James F. Robinson. She and James were married in the early 1970’s.

Arthur Louis Pahl, Jr.

Arthur Louis Pahl Jr. passed away peacefully at his home the morning of April 9, 2015, after enduring several years of multiple health issues. He was born January 14, 1951 in Great Falls, Montana to Arthur and Patricia Pahl. He was the second of four children. Bobby was born in Santa Monica, California on October 6, 1930. He passed away in Carson City, Nevada on April 14, 2015. He was a great outdoorsman.

Margie Y. Groth

A service for Margie Y. Groth, 90, will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, April 22nd at the First Presbyterian Church in Carson City. Mrs. Groth was born in San Francisco to Stewart Riise and Yvonne Swindelle on December 22, 1924. Mrs. Groth passed away on April 13 with her family by her side.

Alyce Potterton Albus was born in 1926 and raised in Phildelphia, PA, graduating from Germantown High School in 1944. After graduation, Alyce went to work as a secretary for several Philadelphia companies before going to work at Philco, where she met the love of her life, Donald Albus.

Norma passed away on April 6, 2015. She was born June 20, 1947, to Charles and Dorothy Ridgeway in Novato, CA. Norma is survived by her husband, Hank Frohlich; brother, Chuck Ridgeway; oldest daughter, Diane Strand; son, Dennis Conway; 7 grandchildren; and, 3 great grandchildren.

Doris Lucille McFeaters peacefully passed away April 10, 2015 at her home in Fallon after a long and debilitating illness. She was born February 7, 1927 in Nauvoo, Illinois to Wesley L. Frakes and Pansy L. Calef Frakes. She was preceded in death by her son Richard K. Phillips, her first husband, Richard Phillips, her parents, and two brothers and a sister.

Donald Garcia, 85, passed away on April 4th in Gardnerville, NV after a long illness. He grew up in Duarte, CA. and started his construction business in early 1950. In 1960 Don sold his business and moved to Lake Arrowhead, CA where he worked for Lake Arrowhead Development Company until he moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1968.

Roger G. Teig, 75, passed away peacefully at his home on March 27, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in rural Iowa, Roger spent his early years on the family farm and a one room school house.

Thomas Walter “Tom” Martin

Thomas Walter “Tom” Martin, age 87, died on March 19, 2015. Tom was born on October 24, 1927 to Walter and Pauline Martin in Riverside, California where he and his only sibling, older brother, Myron, were raised on the family farm. At seventeen, after graduating from high school, Tom spent two years in the Navy. He attended Cal Poly and U.C. Davis under the G.I. Bill, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry. While at Davis he met Cecilie Ann Irwin.
