Eagle Gas II, 1360 S. Carson St., 98 points. Bags of ice were not properly labeled, corrected on site. Some ceiling light shields were cracked. There was bare wood shelving in the rear drink storage room.
Lily’s China Bistro, 1280 S. Carson St., 98 points. Knives were stored improperly between cabinets, corrected on site. The ambient temperature inside the three-door reach-in at the grill line was around 45 degrees, corrected on site.
Smith’s, grocery, 599 E. William St., 98 points. Food, which must be stored at least six inches off the ground, was on the floor in the dairy cooler.
Eagle Gas I, 2152 N. Carson St., 97 point. A small area of the floor near the coffee station was missing linoleum. There was no coving behind the “Fresh Food Fast” reach-in. There were a few loose ceiling tiles in the main grocery store area. The sealed area to the left of the walk-in needed to be painted. A window was broken. Ceiling lights in the main grocery area were not properly shielded.
Avanti Market at NDOT, 1263 S. Stewart St., 95 points. A sandwich and some candy bars on a shelf were past their sell-by date.
Living the Good Life, restaurant, 1480 N. Carson St., 92 points. Paper towels were missing, and employees ate food while preparing or serving food.
